The Project:  Boston BullPen Project is a non-profit organization that partners with existing organizations to supplement and fill urgent needs in the Boston community. The assignment was to create copy for event and sponsor website pages. These pages served two critical goals: driving ticket sales for an upcoming fundraiser and securing sponsorships to support their mission. Traffic to the event page was expected to come primarily from social media, leveraging both organic posts and targeted paid advertising

The Strategy: With minimal direction, I focused on understanding the target audiences i.e., attendees and sponsors. For the event page, I emphasized the event’s exclusivity, featuring a panel of veteran Boston Globe sportswriters, and the events impact on the community. For the sponsorship page, I highlighted the value of brand visibility and alignment with a nonprofit making a tangible difference, appealing to sponsors’ desire to connect with an engaged, local audience.
