The Project: A-1 is a popular fictional motor oil company seeking to increase awareness of their new motor oil and to drive purchasers to their website.  

The Strategy: The target audience for this email was men ages 35-50 who own expensive or performance cars. The target consumer is very careful to take care of their vehicles to optimize their car's performance. The strategy for this email was to appeal to their ego and their passion for their cars, while also explaining why the A-1 Performance Oil is now the gold standard for motor oils.
