Emerging Entrepreneurs Awards CAMPAIGN
The Project: SUCCESS Magazine wanted to introduce a new awards program. The goal was to showcase an awards season around the rising stars of the entrepreneurial world and to inspire SUCCESS readers to nominate themselves or someone else for the awards. I was asked to write copy for the website, print advertisement, and a series of 19 emails throughout the awards season.
The Strategy: SUCCESS readers are predominantly 25 to 55 years old, 57% male, and 43 % female, with an average household income of $75,000 to $150,000. The majority have gone to college, and 68% are self-employed. When strategizing for this project, I kept circling around on the idea of an impact. Entrepreneurs are in every industry, but the one quality they all have in common is a desire to leave a legacy. The print copy and website focus on this theme while the emails throughout the campaign delved into detail on the history of entrepreneurs, modern entrepreneurs, advice and tips for success, and much more.
